The fawn is lured into the swampy coastline looking for the hatching shrimp. The tide was low today and more difficult to find, unlike high tide, where the shrimp are gathered by the thousands with less place to escape the preying deer out for the delicacy.
Usually this pair darts off within first sight of me.
