The doe in the background was with her spotless fawn. Who will get the chance to mate with her? The buck on the left with the smaller antlers will probably lose, and hopefully not his life.
These two Key Deer bucks are definitely sizing each other up like two bullies in a yard.
The Face-Off
The fawn, about five months old, was very frisky and jumping around like a young colt (genetic connection to horses).
