Dusk

At dusk the island becomes alive with an array of endangered animals and birds. It is astonishing how some of the deer will come right up to me and even follow me around like a dog if they think I have food (which I never do).

Summer Shade

The odds were good that I would find the herd of bucks at the hang-out in the middle of this sweltering hot summer day, where the trees provide shade and the resident human provides bird food.
