With some prodding from the professionals I have turned the automatic settings OFF and switched to manual and here are some results.

She was sitting on a nest with two hatchlings but I needed a ladder if I wanted to see them, as the nest was built directly over the murky allligator infested swamp. I could hear the babies making a racket demanding to be feed.

It was very desolate today with little wildlife. Mainly there were only Great Blue Herons around because they don’t want to leave their nests. I did not see the line of Anhinga nests I have observed for the last three years along the canal.
